Let me start by apologising for not updating for a while. With having a fairly DIY wedding in May, all my time and energy was taken up by organising that! If you want to see our wedding photos, check out our album on Jon Magg's website. They are wonderful!

Since returning from honeymoon I have set out to totally rediscover art and my abilities. I have painted more since the honeymoon than I have in about 18 months!

I now have business cards, stickers, letterheads and with compliments slips ready to go, with fabric labels coming soon. I am assembling stock for my Folksy shop which I will post about soon, and also hoping to be a part of local art and craft fairs in the coming months.

I have been painting in a very similar style since I started in acrylic a few years ago, so at the moment I am truly adventuring into unknown territory. Abstract, using acrylic like water colour, adding texture, using masking fluid. It is a very exciting time, and I hope you like some of the results!

My husband realised the other day that the hardest part of me being an artist was that we couldn't keep everything I create!
